ABOUT

Kat Bunke is a printmaker, installation, and fiber artist finishing up her BFA at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a minor in gender and women's studies. She inhabits multiple realms, but primarily focuses on political action in art, and uses creating as an avenue to explore the interaction of identity with the outside world as well as the interaction between discrete aspects of identity.

Kat Bunke (she/her/hers, they/them/their) is a printmaker, installation, and fiber artist. She holds a BFA in printmaking from the University of Wisconsin - Madison as well as a certificate in Gender and Women's Studies. She inhabits multiple realms, but primarily focuses on political action in art, and uses creating as an avenue to explore the interaction of identity with the outside world as well as the interaction within identity between discrete elements. Other works of theirs explore gender, femininity and feminine socialization, queer sexuality, mental health, and childhood development.
